Help understanding the different profiles on PYRO

We have three different types of accounts on PYRO:

  1. Listener
  2. DJ
  3. Record Label

This is the standard account and allows you to browse, listen and interact with most of the features of PYRO. If you love electronic music, and want to listen to copious amounts of it, this is the profile for you.

Of course, electronic music is all about the DJ's. The DJ Account is for anyone that creates music, performs as a DJ, or is only just getting into it and learning the trade. You get a DJ badge on your profile, appear in searches for DJ's, and much more:

  1. DJ Badge
  2. Upload music (originals, remixes, mashups, mixtapes) in HQ format for your fans
  3. Create and manage shows that you are performing at
  4. Download music from our licensed catalogue (read more about upgrading to PRO DJ for unlimited AIFF format downloads)

You can learn how to change to a DJ profile on this article. If you're DJ name already appears on the site and you wish to claim it, please email and we'll take you through the process.

Record Label's

This is a special account that is for labels signing licensed music. We can help you upload your catalogue to PYRO either directly or through our aggregator partners. It maybe that we already have your Record Label on the page and you need to claim it, no problem! Just email us and we'll get it claimed for you.

Record Label's can monetise their catalogue with PYRO, and post OFFICIAL music available for download. They can also tag DJs on their tracks.
